Doing Well by Doing Good
A natural aversion to waste is good for the bottom line in business, but it is also good for the environment. A good example of this is our EPROi line of industrial reverse osmosis systems. They have been relentlessly cost-tuned over many years which reduces their cost to our customers, the energy it takes to produce them and the energy and resources involved in manufacturing and transporting the various key components of the system. Once in place, in say, a boiler room, these systems often significantly reduce water, chemical and power use while simultaneously reducing end-user carbon footprint.
Energy Audits
Crane Environmental has developed several energy audit tools to simplify the return on investment analysis. Data in our Boiler Feedwater Energy Audit tool, for example, is based on US Department of Energy calculations regarding feedwater total dissolved solids (TDS) and boiler efficiency and maintenance.
