Crane Environmental continually sets the Standard for Configured Water Purification
Systems from water treatment equipment manufacturers fall into two broad categories:
- Standard (one size fits all)
- Custom Engineered
Water, however, is highly variable and no one can anticipate all of the variables presented by your feedwater, let alone your individual water quality and flow requirements. Standard system offerings are seldom the best match of features and capabilies and represent a compromise between what you need and what is available. Depending on where your application falls in regards to a particular standard system, the cost may be too high or low, but either way your water treatment system will not operate with total efficiency.
With Custom Engineered systems you present your application requirements to an engineering firm or a water equipment dealer. In turn, they rely upon their experience and contacts to define a water treatment process, design a system then pull together the various technologies, often from multiple manufacturers, required to get the job done. This is a time-consuming process with many opportunities for issues with quality and scheduling.
Our approach is different! It has developed as a result of our implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Transactional processes:
- Pre-engineer and pre-configure basic components
- Design standard work, standard processes, and standard pathways for configuring standard components to meet specific application requirements
- Quote, build and ship systems within the time it takes most competitors to develop an accurate quote
- Continually improve the process every day
With Crane Environmental, your application requirements drive the configuration of standard components from the right technologies. Flexibility is built into all of our processes so that we can quickly and accurately arrive at a solution that fits like a custom engineered system but is quoted, costed, built and installed like a standard system.
This is the basis of Pure Water Made Simple.
